Physical Therapy

  • I feel great.  And I don't know another trainer that actually calls you like a week after your session to see how you are doing. sometimes he just texts to check in..  I so appreciate that.

Therapeutic Exercise, Chiropractic Care, Acupuncture, Training and Massage all work in synergy:

We are committed to our patient’s health and we understand the importance of determining the cause of their condition. Many sports-related injuries and chronic conditions are complex in nature and require a comprehensive approach. Your initial appointment consists of a 60-minute evaluation to gather information about your current and past medical history, perform a physical exam, and refer for any necessary imaging or diagnostic tests. Your physical exam may include: a functional movement screening a postural assessment, gait analysis, biomechanical assessment, neuromuscular evaluation, muscle strength testing, muscle length testing, and joint mobility testing. Based on the comprehensive data gathered your professional practitioner recommends treatment only if he can provide you with the best possible outcome, otherwise he makes a referral to another health care professional.

We work closely with many of the Santa Cruz top specialists and often co-manage patients. Your appointment includes: soft tissue mobilization, muscle stretching, physical rehabilitation, and therapeutic modalities, in addition to joint mobilization and manipulation. To allow for a natural transition toward independence, the patient will assume an active role in their treatment by participating in an individualized home exercise program

Real Testimonials!

" One year after foot and ankle surgery for osteo- and rheumatoid arthritis, I was discouraged and depressed by the lack of progress I was making with standard rehab.  I was still using a cane, shuffling my feet, unable to balance or walk a block, walking down the stairs sideways.  Since working with Clark, I am now able to walk without a cane, climb stairs without fear of falling, keep my balance and posture, engage in daily activities and have fun again.  Clark applies his keen understanding of body mechanics to provide the most effective holistic approach to training and rehab.  He stresses the connection between mind and body, and relates exercises to daily activities.  While following instructions, he also offers insights and guidance about how to improve performance.  Clark has been a terrific coach and has made a significant difference in my life!"
